The Role That Can Embed External Apps: Owner
Zendo allows you to connect external apps to improve your internal processes and customer experience. This way, you can enhance the experience of both your team members and clients, sharing with them videos, documents, spreadsheets, and other files, which can be viewed without leaving the app.
How To Connect External Apps?
2. From the drop-down menu, select Sidebar,
3. On the new page, select "Add sidebar element",
4. From the drop-down menu, select App,

5. In the pop-up window, choose which app you want to add by selecting "Add app" under the app you want,

6. Fill out the new fields:
- Slug: part of the URL that will lead to your external or custom app on the Zendo platform,
- Content: URL link or an iFrame that allows to embed content from the external app.

7. Select "Preview content" to check if the content was embedded correctly.
Make sure that the file you want to embed is public or at least accessible to anyone who has a link. If it has restricted access, other users won't be able to view it.
How To Embed External Apps?
Embedding is used to place content directly on the platform instead of just linking to it. This way, users don't have to leave the app to view additional content; they can see it on the platform.
Airtable
To embed a view:
1. Go to the view you want to embed,
2. Select the "Share and sync" button,

3. From the drop-down menu, select "Copy link",

4. Paste the link in the "Content" field in Zendo,

5. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
Calendly
To embed an event type:
1. Go to the event type card you want to embed,
2. Select the "Copy link" button at the bottom of the card,

3. Paste the link in the "Content" field in Zendo,

4. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
Coda
To embed a Coda document:
1. Go to the document you want to embed,
2. Select the "Share" button at the top,

3. In the pop-up window, select the "Copy link" button,

4. Paste the link in the "Content" field in Zendo,

5. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
Figma
To embed a file:
1. Go to the Figma file you want to embed,
2. Select the "Share" button at the top right,

3. At the bottom of the pop-up window, select "Copy link",

4. Paste it in the "Content" field in Zendo,

5. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
FrameIO
To embed a presentation:
1. Go to the presentation you want to embed,
2. Select the "Share" button at the top right,
3. Select the "Share as Presentation" option,

4. In the new pop-up window, copy the link on the left under the "Link access" section,

5. Paste the link in the "Content" field in Zendo,

6. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
Google Docs
To embed a document:
1. Go to the document you want to embed,
2. Select the "Share" button at the top right corner,

3. In the pop-up window, select the "Copy link" button,

4. Paste the link in the "Content" field in Zendo,

5. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
Google Sheets
To embed a spreadsheet:
1. Go to the spreadsheet you want to embed,
2. Select the "Share" button in the top right corner,

3. Select the "Copy link" button in the bottom left corner,

4. Paste the link in the "Content" field in Zendo,

5. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
Loom
To embed a video:
1. Go to the video you want to embed,
2. Select the link icon at the top,

3. Paste the link in the "Content" field in Zendo,

4. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
TypeForm
To embed a TypeForm file:
1. Go to the form you want to share,
2. Select "Share" at the top,

3. Select the "Copy link" button,

4. Paste the link in the "Content" field in Zendo,

5. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
YouTube
To embed a video:
1. Go to the YouTube video you want to embed,
2. Select the "Share" button under the video,

3. Select the "Copy" button,

4. Paste the link in the "Content" field in Zendo,

5. Use the "Preview content" button to see if the embedded content works properly.
